Politics is a Dirty Business

We put up our large 4’ by 8’ campaign signs last week, only to discover that some of them had been torn down over night.   This happened in Beaufort County.   The signs that had been taken down were near Joe Wilson signs.   I guess that’s a good thing.   Surely, the powerful Republican party is not worried about us!   We obtained a sign permit from the County and, of course, had the approval of the property owners.   O. C. Welch, who owns a large Ford Dealership, allowed us to erect a sign on his property and this was one of the sites where the signs were laying in a ditch.    We put them back up and this time we’ll be watching.   If it happens again, we will file a police report.  I guess they really don’t want the truth out and will go to any lengths to stop it.  We need additional locations to put up signs in the Columbia area, particularly on main thoroughfares or high-traffic areas.  If you have any ideas, please let us know.

Thanks for your continued support.  Please continue to spread the word.  Marc
