I’ve grown weary of listening to the politicians lately and their political pundits, talking about all their “jobs for America” ideas.  I find it amusing and somewhat disheartening that none of them seem to care about you and I and the economy until the last few months, as we approach the mid-term elections.  Where were they in 2008 and 2009 while we lost our jobs, stood in the unemployment lines, watched our real estate devalue by 50%, worked more hours and took pay cuts, and unfortunately for many of us, even lost our homes?  Where have they been with our jobs programs?  The Democrats have gone insane and wildly spent money in places that have done nothing to help you and I.  The Republicans  have become the party of “no” and don’t want the economy to get better in hopes of regaining power.  All the while, you and I suffer.  Joe Wilson, the Republican incumbent, is now touting his “jobs program”.  I doubt he has ever created a job in his life.  He has been in political office for over twenty years.

Here’s my jobs program:  Americans need to rise up and vote every incumbent out of office.  Let them try to find jobs in this economy.  Let them lose all their perks and privileges that they’ve had for so long.  Let them lose their health insurance and have to stand in line in the unemployment office.  Let them have to run a small business and try to make a payroll.  Let them have to lay off a good man or woman and look them in the eye and tell them that there’s no more work, not because of poor performance but because the politicians in office, both Republicans and Democrats, have taken us to the verge of bankruptcy.  Let them have to tighten their belts and sacrifice, and perhaps not have enough money to send their children to school. Let them have to see what it’s like not having the money to go on vacation, pay the rent and have to worry about next month’s mortgage payment.  That’s my “jobs program”.  Let the very people who created this mess have to live through it with you and I.  On November 2^nd, don’t be swayed by their slick TV ads and their proposed ideas for what should be done.  Remember this, facts are facts.  In the last fifty years, my lifetime, the Republicans and Democrats together have created a welfare state, failed to secure our borders, failed to address immigration, taken our money from social security and squandered it, failed to lead us to energy independence keeping us dependent on foreign oil, bankrupted our economy, only to take our money and bail out those who were responsible for the economic collapse.  Join with me.  Vote the incumbents out of office starting with Joe Wilson, and let’s take our government back.  The best people to solve America’s problems are Americans.  You and I together can solve the problems we face, rebuild this nation and return some “sanity” to our government.  Thank you, Marc
