Marc believes it´s time to “rebuild America”. We must rebuild economically by creating jobs, opportunities and incentives for small businesses, which makes up approximately 70% of the jobs in our economy. Being a small business owner himself, he has first-hand knowledge of the difficulties that need to be overcome. There is a need to create opportunities and incentives for research and development to spark the mighty engine of American ingenuity. There isn´t anything that the American people can´t accomplish, and it should be the role of government to provide the opportunities and incentives for this to happen. Our nation must also become energy independent from foreign oil. This can be accomplished if the federal government will take up the task, lead the way and make a firm commitment to provide the opportunities and incentives to do so.

Secondly, we need to rebuild how we govern. This nation must return to what the original framers of the Constitution had in mind, one of which is a smaller federal government. We must also secure our borders for national security. We should welcome immigration because we are known as the great “melting pot," But, immigration must be legal. We must also return to fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget, and we have to limit federal government involvement. The track record of federal government in things such as Amtrak, Post Office and Social Security has been abysmal.

And finally, we must have campaign reform to prevent special interests and big business from controlling candidates and, therefore, the election process. This is fundamental for returning the election process to the people.
